What does working with you cost?
We shape the work around your budget and where your organization is right now, not the other way round. Some teams need a plan they can run themselves; others want us alongside them for a while. The cost follows the depth you choose. If money is tight, say so. We would much rather have the conversation and find something that helps than have you not reach out.
What if we're not sure what we need?
That's what the first conversation is for. Tell us what's going on in plain words and we'll help you sort out what matters most and what can wait. You don't need a diagnosis before you reach out.
What if we only need help with one thing?
Then we help with one thing. Every service stands on its own, however small: a fundraising plan, a board refresh, a CRM decision. There is no minimum. If it turns out to connect to something else, we'll tell you, and what to do about it is up to you.
Who will we actually be working with?
Us. Every engagement is done by Alex and Lakshman personally. Between us that is over $100 million raised inside nonprofits and 18+ years building the systems Fortune 500 companies run on. You get that experience directly, from the first call to the last deliverable.
Can you work alongside our staff, board, or other consultants?
Yes, in whatever arrangement works for you. We work next to your staff, directly with your board and its committees, and alongside consultants or agencies you already have. When a seat is empty, we can fill it for a while as a fractional leader until you hire. We have worked in just about every setup, and the aim is always the same: support the organization however it needs.
What size organizations do you work with?
We work with organizations of every size, including ones that are just getting started. If a handful of people are doing everything, that is exactly when a bit of outside help goes furthest.
How long do engagements last?
You decide the depth. You can start with a plan: we look at what's going on, set priorities, and hand you a roadmap your team can run. If you want us to build it with you, or stay on and help run it, that's your call to make later, not a condition of starting.
